Project Go!

Project Go! is an installation to inspire young kids to go play outside. The informational and graphic frame is accompanied by a pledge that visitors can sign and pieces of sidewalk chalk as a take- away piece. We learned from our research and from exploring similar concepts/products that we needed to inspire both the children and their parents in order to effectively get our message across.

We solved this by dedicating one side of the frame to adults, where quotes and important statistics would be displayed, where as the opposite would be filled with pictures and quotes from other children with simpler message so its easier for children to understand. The chalk can used to be sign our “outdoor manifesto” as well as a take away piece. The chalk can be used for a myriad ways outside - to simply draw on the sidewalk or could be used to draw a hopscotch grid.
